BBC Radio 3 Choral Evensong Broadcast Live - Wednesday 24th. June at 15.30.

Sung by the Cathedral Choir. All are welcome to the service.

The congregation must be seated by 15.15. The Cathedral is closed to visitors for the duration of the broadcast.

Sunday 22nd. February 2015 at 6:30pm. Taize Service.

A service of Taize chants with time for reflection and Prayer, held in candlelight.

Wednesday 11th. February 2015 at 7pm to 9:30pm. Ecumenical Evening Pilgrimage.

Following a prayer trail around the Cathedral, concluding with Compline by candlelight in the Quire and a silent procession to the shrine of St Alban. Cost £6. (Including on arrival a sandwich and cake buffet.) Please book in advance to Judith Card in the Cathedral Office. Phone: 01727 890200.

Sunday 1st. February 2015 at 6-30pm. Epiphany and Candlemas Carols.

On one hand Candlemas looks back to Jesus' birth and sums up the meaning of the incarnation but it also looks forward to the end of Jesus' life. There is a foreshadowing here of the journey to the Cross - a service of inspiring music and readings.

Annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving

Sunday 23rd. November 2014 at 3p.m. Dove Release 2-30pm.

The service is suitable for bereaved children and is organized by the Cathedral Ecumenical Chaplaincy and the St. Albans & District Bereavement Network.

Ecumenical Pilgrimage to Walsingham
